Operational Integration is the process of combining the respective organizations of an acquirer and acquired entity while also migrating or integrating all business operations, policies and data into one common information technology environment. This process spans multiple departments and company functions. The ultimate goal of Operational Integration is to stabilize the combined company’s operations in the most efficient manner possible.
With the assistance of key client stakeholders, SPX takes a multi-faceted proprietary approach to driving the Operational Integration of mergers and acquisitions. We focus on the people aspects of the integration first, optimizing the ability to retain key and critical employees. From there, we design and implement a custom plan to enable two companies that were previously separate to operate as one when Operational Integration is completed.
